Obituary - Earl Daniel (Danny) Weir

It is with great sadness that the family of Earl Daniel (Danny) WEIR of Halifax, NS announce his passing on February 27, 2025 at the age of 67. Danny was the son of the late Earl and Yvonne Weir (Nee Ward).

Danny will be lovingly remembered by his partner Joanne Surette; former partner, mother of Keith, Jenny Allen; son Keith Weir and his fiancée Julia Gorman; siblings: Dianne (Caswell), Marlene (Sladen), Corine (Weir) and Michael (Weir), as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Danny spent many years in the automotive industry. He had a passion for cars, fishing, playing the guitar and nature. He would often be seen feeding the crows in the park or on his lawn. He was very artistic and created several pieces of metal art work. Danny was knowledgeable in many fields and always kept his conversations interesting. He had a great sense of humour and loved to make people laugh. He often mentioned his proudest accomplishment in his life was his son Keith. Danny will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 530 Starboard Drive (Larry Uteck), Halifax, NS on March 22, 2025 between 2 and 4 pm. Donations can be made to Hospice Halifax, 618 Francklyn Street, Halifax, NS B3H 3B4.
