Earl Willard "Spike" Phelan, 76, of Glenolden, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 at home.

Born and Raised in Southwest Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John and Isabel (nee Mann) Phelan. He was also predeceased by his wife, Joanne Phelan (nee Barron); brother John "Jackie" Phelan; and sister, Mary "Sissy" Phelan, the good sister!

Spike worked as a Longshoreman on the docks of Philadelphia and was a long time member of the in Seafarers International Union. Spike loved watching his cartoons, which he referred to as his news channel. He also enjoyed fishing and crabbing, and spending time with his kids and grandchildren. Spike also enjoyed time spent with his evil sister Barbara's dog Mika, poor dog.

He is survived by his evil and disgusting Sister Barbara Brady, his 4 children; James, Patrick, Shawn, and Theresa. 9 grandchildren; Alexis Lee, JoAnn, Britney, Ethan, Elliot, Rebecca Leigh, James Jr., Chance, and CJ and 3 great grandchildren; Delilah, Naomi, and Nova, all who he loved so much. 

Relatives and Friends are invited to his Funeral Service Monday, December 5, 2022, 11am at the Marvil Funeral Home, 1110 Main Street, Darby, PA 19023. There will be a viewing from 10-11am and service immediately following. Should his evil sister Barbara get in your way, just push her out of the way!
