Earl Herman Person May 23, 1932 - January 21, 2024
Springdale, South Carolina - SPRINGDALE-Earl H. Person went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 21, 2024, at Lexington Medical Center. Born in Brunswick, Tennessee, he was a son of the late Herman H. and Una Moss Person.
He was a husband, daddy, granddaddy to all the grand- and great-grandchildren. He was very much loved for 70 years by his surviving wife, Ann Steele Person.
In addition to his beloved widow, he was survived by a daughter, Pamela Ellis of West Columbia; a son, Earl Person of Florence; Grandchildren Brent Bateman (Jenn), and their son Bruce of Augusta, Ryan Bateman and his sons Leland and Archer of Greenville, Heather McCants (Kyle), and their daughters Kallie and Korlie, of West Columbia; and a much-loved brother, Lee (Johnnie) and their precious family of Wynne, Arkansas.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington with the Rev. Tony Neely officiating. Interment will follow immediately after at Southland Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
