Frank was truly “salt of the earth.” To know Frank was to know someone who
would give you the shirt off his back. He was kind, caring, and never met a
stranger. He enjoyed the outdoors—hunting, fishing, farming, and operating
heavy equipment—and had an exceptional understanding of automobile
mechanics.
Frank found his greatest joy in giving to others. He rarely asked for anything
himself, but was always the person people turned to for help—whether
emotionally, financially, or for advice. Frank made the decision to donate his
body to science by participating in the Boonshoft School of Medicine Anatomical
Gift Program.
A celebration of Frank’s life will be held at VFW Post 3660 on November 15,
2025, from 1–3 p.m., located at 2741 Columbus Ave., Springfield, Ohio 45503. In
lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Special Wish
Foundation at VFW 3660.
