Earl Michael Mayfield, (Mike) 62, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away on January 17, 2023 after a long battle with metastatic adenocarcinoma lung cancer.

Mike was born on December 2, 1960 to Earl and Genevieve Mayfield in Plant City, Florida.  He worked for over 40 years with C & S Wholesale as a driver.  Sandra and Mike were wed on the 50 yard line of the Dallas Cowboys.


Anyone who knew Mike knew that he was the most loving father, friend and husband a family could ask for. 

He is survived by his wife, Sandra - 3 sisters, Linda, Earleen & Sue - 3 children, Susan, Michael, Jr, & Kristina - 11 grandchildren - 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  Not to mention Don Stone, the silent partner in crime. 

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Southside Assembly of God, 4750 Cleveland Heights Blvd, Lakeland, Florida 33813. 

There will be a Memorial Service on January 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Southside Assembly of God in Lakeland, FL.  The Celebration of Life will be held later that evening on January 21, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.  at Amvets Post 32, 1339 E. Gary Road, Lakeland, Florida.
