Background
In lieu of flowers, we would like funds in her name to be delegated to support an arts education nonprofit or a scholarship for an emerging artist, as a one-time donation or longer-running, depending on the memorial funds we receive. Michele's overarching priority was teaching and promoting the arts. Thus, in her name we will establish a way for funds to reach underprivileged art students of promise needing additional funds to develop their skills and passion further. Specific scholarship fund and arts education nonprofit TBD, as we evaluate what is the best use.
