E. Graham Berry
November 18, 1951 – March 25, 2025
Saint Charles, Missouri
E. Graham Berry, age 73, of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025. Born on November 18, 1951, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Graham lived a life defined by service, loyalty, and quiet strength.
A proud U.S. Marine, Graham enlisted at just 17 years old and served his country honorably for more than 20 years, including a tour in Vietnam. His dedication to the Corps and his country shaped the man he became — disciplined, selfless, and always ready to help others.
Graham loved the simple things in life — watching movies, swapping old military stories, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, and spending time with family. He was the kind of man who would drop everything to lend a hand, never asking for much in return. His kindness, humility, and steady presence left a mark on everyone who knew him.
Graham is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Irma Espejo Berry; his daughters Sabriana, Maggie, and Cynthia from his first marriage; and his sons Edmond and Michael from his marriage to Irma. He is also survived by his grandchildren Reito Uema, Kaito Gima, Lyden Reiter, Myka Reiter, and Edward Berry; his brother Kevin Berry; and his sister Colleen Berry.
Known lovingly by family and friends as “Gray,” he always spoke fondly of his cousins — sharing endless funny stories and memories that brought laughter to those around him. It’s only fitting to acknowledge the many cousins he leaves behind, each holding a special place in his heart and sharing in the joy of those stories that will live on.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward G. Berry II and Margaret M. Berry, and his brother Brian Berry.
A memorial service to honor Graham’s life and service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C., on October 30, 2025, at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to veterans’ organizations in Graham’s memory, supporting those who, like him, dedicated their lives to serving others.
