Personal note from The Dantzig Family

Thank you for visiting Dylan’s memorial page. Our hearts are broken by the loss of our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. In the midst of our deep grief, we have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from so many—through texts, phone calls, emails, cards and heartfelt messages from both near and far. One thing we have heard time and time again is that Dylan was never a stranger to anyone. Each message has brought us comfort, reminding us of his presence and the kindness he extended so naturally to so many people. With God’s love and strength, and through your shared memories, we are finding moments of peace in the midst of tremendous sorrow.

One of Dylan’s favorite verses was Joshua 1:9: “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” We hold tightly to the truth and promise of those words, and we find comfort in knowing that Dylan carried them with him.

With love and gratitude,

The Dantzig Family
