Dwight (Vic) Victor Hendershot, 71, of Waterford, passed away at his home, surrounded by his loved ones on April 7, 2024 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born the 13th of 14 children on March 26, 1953 to John Sr. and Irene Hendershot at their family home. Vic was married to his soulmate Donna (Lupardus) for 32 years, she proceeded him in death. Vic is survived by his son Trent, Granddaughters Autumn (Briar Schultheisz), Audrey (Charles) Hendershot, and Great Grandson Leeland Victor Schultheisz. Also brothers Ronnie, John Jr (Jackie), Gary, and Albert (Rhonda) Hendershot. Sisters Gwen Sword , Yvonne (Ronald) Erb, and Karen Morse. Vic was proceeded in death by three brothers, Jack, Ivan and Jim Hendershot. Three sisters, Cletis Rummer, Joretta Kiggans, Ernestine (Tiny) Laskey. Vic was a 1971 graduate of Waterford High School. In retirement after a 32 year career at Eramet he enjoyed taking care of his wife in her last year‘s, drinking coffee on the porch and looking through pocket change. He was a member of Salem UMC, and CONECA error coins. A graveside service will be held at the Barlow cemetery Saturday, April 27 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers Donations to the Barlow Central Cemetery association are welcome.
