Dwight Kambou Douangdara, age 80, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025, at The Lodge of Saginaw Health & Wellness.

Dwight was a man who found deep joy in life’s simple pleasures—fishing, exploring new places, sharing meals, and, above all, spending time with family and friends. His warmth, humor, and generous spirit touched all who knew him.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife Nancy, daughter Barbara, son Olay, and grandchildren Maggie, Olivia, and Anthony. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

While there will be no formal funeral service, a monk’s blessing will be held at the family home in Saginaw for three days, beginning today at 3 PM. Family and friends are welcome to join in honoring his life during this time of remembrance.

Dwight’s presence, love, and laughter will be deeply missed.
