Dwayne's obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dwayne W. Greaser on April 15, 2024, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dwayne was born on October 5, 1958, in Tucumcari, New Mexico. He moved to El Paso, Texas when he was 8 years old and lived there with his family until he moved to Albuquerque to work as a dedicated Pipeline Operations Manager and a cherished member of each neighborhood he was a part of throughout his life.
Dwayne's life was marked by his love for spending time with his children and grandchildren, enjoying the peacefulness of sitting on the porch during a rainstorm, listening to oldies rock 'n' roll, and cooking delicious meals for loved ones.
He was also known for being a neighbor to all who crossed his path and truly embodying the verse "love your neighbor as yourself." His selflessness and compassion for others left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He is survived by his daughters, Holly Leonard (Charlie) and Shelby Greaser (Francisco), and grandchildren including Lexi Leonard, Mark Leonard, and Aspen Trujillo. He was awaiting the birth of his fourth cherished grandchild, Francisco Jaxon to parents Shelby and Cisco. Dwayne also leaves behind his ex-wife and dear friend Mackie Cox, as well as his sisters Linda Bianchi (Mike) and Pam Beets (Jimmy). He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie O Greaser and Rose Marie Greaser, and his brother, William "Bill" Greaser.
Funeral services will be held at Sagebrush Church - Uptown, 1613 Arizona St NE, Albuquerque NM on May 5, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. Following the service, a Celebration of Life will take place at Sadie's, 6230 4th St NW, Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, NM from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the same day. All who knew and loved Dwayne are welcome and encouraged to join us in celebrating his life.
