Remembering Dustin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dustin Bradley Lewis, who left us too soon at the age of 40 on March 24th, 2025.

Dustin was many things: a son, a father, a sibling, an uncle, a friend, and above all, a human being with a kind heart and a soul full of light, even when it was dimmed by darkness. His laughter was infectious, his hugs were warm, and his presence could brighten a room. He loved many things including his family, remodeling/fixing up anything that needed a little TLC and he found peace in moments that often seemed too rare. Dustin made friends with anyone he came in contact with. He could make anyone laugh with his huge personality. In keeping with Dustin’s loving and generous spirit, he chose to give the gift of life through organ donation, a final act of kindness that will continue to save and heal others.

Dustin was preceded in death by his mother, Linda. He is survived by his father, Larry Lewis, his sister Emily Lewis Whaley (Billy), his brother Kevin Lewis (Brittany), his wife, Amanda Lewis and his children, Peyton (17), Chloe (13) Dustin Jr. ”DJ” (6) and Cashton (2) , who will forever cherish their time together and carry his memory forward.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 5, 2025 with visitation at 12:30-2 with the service to follow. It will be held at The Refuge Church in Lakeland, TN.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Donate Life America, a non-profit organization to help with organ donation, or a charity of the donors’ choice.
