Hi.  It’s “Buddy”.  I started having sad dreams about you guys in April.  It kept happening.  Thinking one of you might be sick, I started praying for you.  Then this news came to me.  I am so very sorry for your devastating loss.  It breaks my heart for you.  I know we lost touch over the years but you guys were family to me for a long time.  I loved Dustin, as a little guy, and how he called me “Bubby”.  I think of you both often every day and pray for you.  There are no words to ease the pain, but know you are in my heart and prayers.

Kathy, Larry, and family... I am heartbroken to hear about Dustin’s passing. Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. 

Dustin was an unforgettable part of my life, and while our relationship was complex at times, it was also filled with moments of laughter, growth, and care. I will always hold close the memories of his smile, his humor, and the ways he touched my life when we were just a couple of kids trying to figure out how to be adults. 

I pulled some photos from our time together and placed them in an album below. My hope is that they bring a bit of joy, comfort, and reassurance that there was a deep love and care between us. Thank you for granting me the opportunity to know such a wonderful and big-hearted man.
