Dustin's obituary

Dustin Csintyan Adams

1/21/1978 - 12/25/2025

How do you summarize someone's life in just a few words, or in any words when your heart is broken.

Dustin, I dare you to pronounce his middle name, Adams – born in Georgia to a sassy, young, hippie and ready for anything. Dustin lived in this particular universe for 47 years. He brought us so much laughter, criticism, jokes, amazing food, anger, fear, huge messes, big smiles, and perhaps, most importantly, a heart that could melt the arctic. Dustin was smart, really f*cking smart, and that combined with his huge heart, empathy and awareness, didn’t always help him get through this world, and at the end might have been what took him.

He loved cooking, and was great at it, he loved being the funniest guy in the room (even if he was the only one who thought so), he loved disc golf, he loved stand-up, video games, and more than anything, he loved his kids and family. With every ounce of his heart and soul, I have never doubted the love that he held, holds, for them.

Dustin is survived by his children, Carter, Aydin and Brevana, his parents, Sandra and Larry, his sisters, Aimee and Mandy, his step-siblings, Sue, Josh, Tanya and Kristie, and so many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends that love him so much.

Dustin, you will leave an enormous hole in this place and in our hearts forever.

I will end this with a quote from one of his favorite movies – Everything Everywhere All at Once.

“The only thing that I do know is that we have to be kind. Please, be kind. Especially when we don’t know what’s going on.”

In lieu of flowers, if your heart feels compelled, please see the following GoFundMe for donations to the kids college or for mental health and suicide awareness.

We will be having a Celebration of Life at the Layton VFW on 1389 Main Street, Layton, UT 84041 on January 11th, 2026 from 2-4 PM (you are welcome to stay as late as you would like). Kids are allowed, dressing up is highly discouraged (you know he would hate that), jokes, support systems, and anyone who has ever met him are welcome, and stories would make our hearts happy. We will have tacos and a bar, in Dustin’s honor, because he would hate anything less. If you are unable to make it, I will be live streaming it from my Youtube channel @ https://YouTube.com/live/IEZ4…

From 1400-1600 MST
