Obituary for Dusteen Lee Waller
Dusteen Lee Waller, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away suddenly in Kingman, Arizona, on December the 28th of 2024. She was born on December 31, 1957, in Norwalk, California, to Gwendolyn and William Hake.
Dusteen was the second youngest of four children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Labelle, and her brother Robin. She is survived by her sister Dawn, her devoted husband of 47 years, Rickey Dewayne Waller, and her son, Dillon Dewayne Waller. Dusteen was also the proud mother of Ricky Dewayne Waller Jr., her firstborn son, who passed away shortly after birth.
Dusteen and Rickey shared a love that spanned more than 50 years, creating a beautiful life together filled with laughter, resilience, and devotion to family.
Dusteen had a diverse career, working in many roles throughout her life. She was employed at Wienerschnitzel and Burger King, a quilting company, as a concessions worker at a golf course, and as a lunch lady at her son’s high school. She also took great pride in being a stay-at-home mom, dedicating herself to her family with unmatched love and care.
Known for her warmth and generosity, Dusteen found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved the color purple, cherished trips to the movies for buttery popcorn, and had a heart full of compassion for those around her.
Dusteen will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
