It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Duane Russell Wright.  A beloved father, cherished grandfather, and a man whose quick wit and unparalleled humor brought joy to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Russell departed from this world on June 21, 2023.

Russell was born on September 28, 1959, in Chillicothe OH to Daniel and Doris Wright. From an early age, it was evident that he possessed a remarkable sense of humor that would become his trademark. With a twinkle in his eye and a mischievous grin, Russell had an uncanny ability to bring laughter to even the dullest of moments. His wit was razor-sharp, and his clever remarks could effortlessly brighten any room.

His pride in his children was immeasurable, and he beamed with joy whenever he spoke of their accomplishments. As a doting grandfather, Russell found immense delight in the presence of his grandchildren. Their laughter and playful energy revitalized his spirit, and he relished every opportunity to share stories, teach them life lessons, and create lasting memories with Paw Paw. Russell loved his furry friend, Precious, and they shared an entertaining bond.

Outside the realms of family, Russell's charismatic personality drew people toward him effortlessly. He had an innate ability to find humor in every situation, reminding us all to find joy even in the face of adversity. Russell's unmatchable humor will forever be remembered as one of his most endearing qualities.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Doris Wright, and his grandson, Jordan Wilbanks.

Russell is survived by wife, Patricia, his children, Jessica (Christopher) Wilbanks, Jennifer (George) Stone, Matthew (Heather) Wright, and Lindsey (Joshua) Lyons, and his adoring grandchildren, Isaac, Beth Ann, Emily, Caleb, Josiah, Leah, Vincent, Noah, and Oliver. He is also survived by his brother, Daniel (Ginger) Wright, and sisters, Danita (John) Hardin and Dance (Paul) Dunkle.
