It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Duane Edwards, a beloved father, son, brother, and successful business and property owner. Duane, who was born on August 7, 1966, left us too soon on October 28, 2023.

Duane had a personality that could light up any room. Known for his great sense of humor, he was the life of every family gathering and social event, always ready with a warm smile and a joke to share. He imparted many lessons throughout his life, sharing his experiences and wisdom with those privileged to know him.

One of his most noteworthy achievements was becoming a business and property owner. His success served as an example of his unwavering determination and work ethic, traits which he strove to pass on to his loved ones.

He leaves behind his cherished family: his daughters, Nyesha Nichols, Dajuan McDougal, and MarSadie Edwards; his son, Duane Edwards Jr; his mother, Angelique Young; his brothers, Thellie Chamblee, Brian Roy, and Shawn Roy; and his sister, Jaime Roy. Each of them will carry Duane's memory in their hearts, remembering him as a force of love, warmth, and humor that truly made the world a better place.
