Duane and I served in the Navy together. I learned so much from him.  May God continue to watch over his family

Duane taught me a lot when I was a band new Sailor, and always had the ability to bring humor and light to the most miserable jobs.  I'll always appreciate him for showing me the ropes, and how to treat the young guys.  My condolences to his family, and know that he was loved by the Sailors that he served with.

Duane kept me in line and let me have dinner at his house often when I was a young sailor.    Much love and respect for him.
