Drummond's obituary
Drummond Parker Banks, age 17, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 25th, 2024, as a result of an accident. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, September 6th, 2024 at 3 pm at Cornerstone Church, 2123 Hamilton Road, Auburn, AL. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 2:45 pm. Pastor Scott Lee will be officiating.
Drummond is survived by his parents, Jason and Susan Banks, his younger brother, Grayson Banks, his grandparents, Deron and Machelle Banks and Ruby Fulmer, his uncle, John Banks (Courtney), his aunt Karen Mask (Tim) and his cousins, Dakota and Kalyn Mask. Drummond was preceded in death by his grandfather, Hillman (Dock) Fulmer.
Drummond was a senior at Auburn High School. His passions included fishing, especially with his PapPaw Banks, mountain bike riding and rock climbing. As a younger child, he spent many hours building with Legos and assembling models. He also loved spending time at the lake, knee-boarding, tubing and wave-riding. Drummond had an engineering mindset and excelled at taking things apart and putting them back together. During his teen years, he developed a love for motorcycles. Drummond held several summer and after-school jobs and was a very responsible and dependable worker. Drummond was a joy to all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed.
