Dragos's obituary

It is with deep sadness that we share that Dragos passed away due to a heart complication at his home on March 23rd, 2026.

He carried within him a profound desire to be surrounded by art, architecture, and history, drawn to beauty in a way that felt both searching and deeply intentional.

He struggled with the weight of life’s heaviness, but we remember him today through shared memories and the bright versions of him that existed through the darkness.

Dragos was a friend, a brother, and a son who shared himself in ways that were raw and complex. He never wanted to burden others with what he was going through, and instead faced his battles in the only ways he knew how.

In his personal notebook, we found a line he had held onto, one we carry as a reminder of how Dragos hoped to see and live life: “The life that I could still live, I should live, and the thoughts that I could still think, I should think.” — C.G Jung
