Dr. William J. Gorman III, (May 1, 1938 - October 9, 2022), passed away at St. Anthony Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, in Lafayette, IN. William is survived by his sister Elizabeth (Gorman) Rippa, Goddaughter Jeannine, niece Larissa (Paul) Soccoli and nephew Philip (Molly) Rippa.
Dr. Gorman served as Assistant to the Head of Department of Computer Science at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana. Bill retired in 2018 after 44 years of service.
Dr. Gorman has donated his body to Indiana University School of Medicine, 340 West 10th St., Indianapolis, IN 46202-3082.
A memorial mass for Dr. Gorman will be held on Thursday, Oct. 27 and can be viewed livestream.
