On February 24, 2026, we bid farewell to Dr. Paul Thigpen, a devoted husband and father, a beloved friend, a brother in Christ, and a renowned author, scholar, and evangelist, whose warmth, humility, and kindness truly touched us all.
As we mourn this profound loss, our hearts turn to his family, especially his beloved wife, Leisa, as they navigate this unimaginably difficult chapter. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of prayers and encouragement that they have received during this time. So many have asked how they can offer their support, and the family has been truly comforted by such profound expressions of love and kindness.
In response, we have established this memorial fund, in Dr. Paul’s honor, to surround Leisa with the same compassion and benevolence that he embodied and to provide a tangible way to bless and support her during this season of transition. Our generosity will alleviate the sudden financial burdens of his passing and provide stability in the days ahead.
It is our hope as a community to reflect the very virtues that were hallmarks of Dr. Paul’s life – prayer, faith, generosity – by standing together in faith, expressing Christ’s love in both word and deed.
