Dr. Chiu Lun Lui was born in Canton, China, on February 9, 1944. He moved to Hong Kong at the age of 5 and then to Taiwan to pursue a medical degree in dentistry. He met and married his wife, Ching Ping Lui, in Taiwan in 1972.

He moved to the United States in 1973 to begin a new life and start a family while pursuing his career dreams. He also joined the US Army and served his country for 22 years.

He passed away peacefully on September 28, 2024, at 12:30 a.m., at the age of 80 years old.

He is survived by his wife, Ching Lui, his three children and their spouses, Tony and Jennie Woo, Edward and Autumn Lui, and Edwin and Candice Lui, and his seven grandchildren, Joshua, Jonah, Chloe, Josie, Sabrina, Noah, and Jacob.
