It was this weekend that I learned of Carol's passing.  I pursued her like a stalker to join the Ohio Mathematics and Science Coalition.  She gave in and became a vital member serving on the executive board and as chair.  After her leadership, she served as secretary for years.  Carol's dedication to improving science education was a life goal and her work with SECO moved student focused education to the forefront.  Her energy and drive will be missed.  Thank you, Carol, for dedicating so much of your time to making science education better for students and teachers.  Miss you.

I have just heard of Carol's passing. I am so sorry for your loss.  I knew her through her work at the Ohio Mathematics and Science Coalition.  She was dedicated to science education in the state of Ohio.
