Background
Doug maintained a lifelong passion for the natural world, particularly marine life, and donated to ocean conservation efforts for the majority of his life.
Doug also cherished his time mentoring young adults through the NCC Youth Group and on numerous mission trips. To donate, please click the link, select "Other" fund and enter "NCC Youth Mission Fund" to donate in Doug's honor.
The Douglas Allen Service Learning Travel Fund at Drake University was created by Doug many years ago to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students participating in service learning travel experiences including domestic and international service-learning travel seminars, community-based research and attending civic engagement conferences.
