Douglas James Shipp passed away in March of 2021. He was born in Panama City, Panama in November of 1967 and spent most of his life in Texas. He attended Mexia High School and was an all-around athlete. Doug was also very involved in his children’s baseball and softball pastimes. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Douglas is survived by his son, Branden, his wife, Abbey, and their children: Emery, Evelyn, Ellis, Eliza, and Emmett; his daughters Tiffany and Samantha. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Latricia, and grandparents James and Atrella.
