I just read Doug's obituary and extend my sympathies to his daughters and friends. I met him at UUCGN (Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Greater Naples...surely a mouthful!!) and appreciated his kind, friendly personality.  He was well-liked, and I was sorry to see him move to Sarasota; he did visit Naples UU a few times after the move, but, like anything else, he assimilated into the Sarasota milieu and, with his sweet personality, surely must have developed many meaningful friendships there.  He was a very nice man!

On behalf of The bach Choir, I'm sending our sincere condolences to the Bracy family. Douglas was a longtime friend and supporter of the Bach Choir. He will be missed but fondly remembered for the the twinkle in his eyes and his love of the music and legacy of the Bach Choir. We will add his name to our World Farewell list and note his passing when we sing World Farewell at our May 2026 Festival. In sympathy, Cheryl Dungan, Development Director
