On Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, Doug Robinson, beloved dad, brother, uncle, coach, and leader, passed away at the age of 61. Doug was born July 28, 1959 in Belchertown, MA, served in the US Navy, and created a home and life in the SF Bay Area. He worked to emulate what he affectionately called a "Jimmy Buffett," attitude in life-- striving to be laid back and genuine in all things. Doug was often found hiking or biking locally and always ready to go to a baseball game or National Park. Always humble, Doug served as a youth soccer coach and volunteered with Relay for Life and the VA. He took the role of "Dad" to an extreme, always offering a fatherly ear and advice to anyone his junior-- truly, the daddest dad who ever dadded. Doug is survived by close family; Nicole, Shelby, Noah, and Jimmy, siblings; Jenny, Jane, and Walter, and corgi companion, Smokey.
Doug’s family will be hosting a Celebration of Life on Saturday, Dec. 19th at his home in San Jose.
