Dottie's obituary
Dottie Lou Markley-Blizman, 63, of Sarasota, Fl, passed away on May 1, 2022. Dottie was born 12/1/58 to Thomas and JoAnn Caldwell in Sturgis, Mi.
She is survived by husband, Randy Blizman, who loved and cherish her till the end. Other survivors include Her son Brett Markley (Ashley), grandchildren Finley and Duke, Mother JoAnn Caldwell and Sister Sheila (Russell) Whitman.
She had three nieces and nephews that she enjoyed spending time with: Aaron Kennedy (Bethany) children Cora and Nolan, Brittany McLoughlin (Robbie) children Kirra and Reese, and Skylar Bragg (Molly) and children Atticus and Sebastian.
Proceeded in death was her father, Thomas G. Caldwell.
Dottie enjoyed many things: reading, plants, animals , but mostly, she enjoyed boating and diving with her son Brett and daughter in law Ashley. They spent many summers in the keys, swimming, boating, diving, and taking underwater pictures.
There will be a celebration of life on May 13th at Siesta Key Pavilion, 5:30. A reef burial will be held at a later date in The Florida Keys.
