It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dorthy Scott. Born on May 7, 1940, Dorthy passed away on August 31, 2023. Known best for her effervescent personality and loving nature, she warmed the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Throughout her life, Dorthy was a beacon of hospitality, grace, and care. Her greatest pride was her family, whom she strived to keep united and close-knit. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren, embodying the spirit of a loving and dedicated stay-at-home mom.

Dorthy is survived by her six children: Douglas Scott, Dawn Scott, Pam Scott, Brian Scott, and Todd Scott. Her memory will continue to live in them and in her grandchildren: Christopher Gray, Leigh Scott, Zachary Scott, Holly Erickson, Becky Gray, John Scott, Jessie Scott, and Abby Scott.

Those who knew Dorthy knew her for her bubbly, warm, and loving personality. She always seemed to light up any room she entered, and her laughter and joy were intoxicating. The legacy of Dorthy's kind spirit, passion for her family, and zest for life endure in the memories of those she left behind.
