The family had a memorial service September 22, 2024 at the Holly Seventh day Adventist church. Following the service The family met for a private graveside service, followed by a luncheon together in Dorthy‘s memory. She will be greatly missed and remembered for her wit and grit that she approached life with some of her final words were “no matter what you’re going through in life always, always know that God is with you.“
