Dorothy Louise “Weezy” Terrell, age 60, transitioned to her forever home on February 8, 2024. She was a native of Vossburg, Mississippi and lifelong resident of New Orleans, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her father, Ruben Goins and sister, Brenda Terrell. Dorothy leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Mary Goins, two sons Brian Goins (Kenyatta Peters), Marcus (Kelsey) Goins and two daughters, Marquisha Terrell (Miguel Maxwell) and Bryisha Terrell. She also leaves four sisters, Rubystein Goins, Ruby Jean Goins, Glenda Goins, Matilda (Ernie) Joseph, and a brother, Billy (Stacy) Goins. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Bria Baxter, Amaya Goins, Kaysun Terrell, Gianna Goins and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Arrangements for Dorothy are pending.
