It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dorothy "Dotdot" Ragsdale, affectionately known by many as Dotdot, but who deeply cherished her name Dorothy. Born on March 31, 1950, she departed from this world on March 25, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, love, and wisdom.

Dorothy lived her life with a kind-hearted spirit and exuded an outgoing disposition that touched everyone she met. Her enthusiastic personality had a way of lighting up the room, bringing warmth and joy to everyone around her. She believed in the power of good deeds and often shared her best lesson in life: "Do right by others and good will come to you". It was this mantra that she lived by, demonstrating through her daily actions her unwavering devotion to compassion and empathy.

Dorothy is survived by a loving family who will forever remember her bright spirit and wise teachings. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Johnny Ragsdale, who stood by her side throughout their many years together. As a mother, she instilled in her daughters, Sharon Lacount and Amanda Glenn, her values of kindness and sincerity. Dorothy was also a beloved grandmother to Trianna Glenn and Tevin Glenn, who will remember her fondly and continue to carry forth her legacy.

As we remember Dorothy, let us embrace her teachings, her love for life, and her unwavering kindness. Her spirit lives on in each of us, reminding us to always choose compassion and understanding in our dealings with others. Dorothy "Dotdot" Ragsdale will forever remain in our hearts.
