Dorothy Fae Piland was born in Honey Grove, Texas to Kelvin Piland and Clara Corn. She attended high school in Chouteau, Oklahoma and later attended Rogers State University where she received a Bachelors Degree in nursing. Dorothy worked as a floor supervisor at the Veterans Affairs nursing home in Claremore, Oklahoma until her retirement.
She loved being at the lake, camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
Dorothy is survived by son Jerry Moore and wife Kathy of Pryor, Oklahoma. Son Robert Burns and wife Hannah of Stigler, Oklahoma. Sister Dolly Vivion and husband Cecil of Pryor, Oklahoma. 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by both parents, sisters Imojene Combs and Shirley Grummet and brothers Bill Corn and Jack Piland and son Richard Burrough.
