Background
Dotty became a single mother through adopting two little boys after a foster-fail. She had cared for both of them since they were babies. Kai is now 16, and Mayan is 11. Before her death, she was also POA for her disabled sister, who will be 68 in a few days. Dot had been a caregiver her whole life.
She was life-flighted to St. Louis, and after passing, needed to be transported back home for the funeral.
Among the family, we have collected roughly half the costs of the transportation and funeral expenses.
