Dorothy Mae "Jean" Jackson, 70, of Rocky Mount, NC passed away peacefully on December 25, 2022, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Dorothy Mae grew up in Morristown they loved. She worked atNash General Hospital for Many years and enjoyed Being with her Greandchildren. Dorothy Mae will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Dorothy Mae was predeceased by Mother Mae Leatha Lottand Father Joel Lee Russell of Morristown,NJ. She is survived by Husband Ronald Jackson of Rocky Mount,NC and one daughter Cassandra Russell Pittman and son-in-law Charles, of Rocky Mount North Carolina six grandchildren Michael Moore, of Rocky Mount Carissa Pittman, Alyssa Pittman, Makayla Pitman, Dasani Pittman, Cannan Greene all of Rocky Mount. one sister Alice Evans and brother-in-law William Evans , of Tampa, FL six nieces and nephews Cherribe  Mills, Leatha Russell, of Tampa Florida Joannes Suggs of Mississippi, Lakers Evans ,Kierra Evans , Alford Evans , all of Tampa, Fl and a host of nieces and nephews Dorothy Mae requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services.
