Dorothy Jean Hines, 73, of Florence, MS, passed away on March 11, 2022.  Dorothy was born on June 5, 1948 to Lynn and Annie Belle (Davis) Hobson in Florence. Dorothy graduated from McLaurin High School in 1967,  In 1970, she met Galloway Hines, and they wed in 1970, going on to have 2 children, Dorlisa (Robert) Love and Dorothea (William) Cook. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, Lynn and Annie Belle Hobson, sisters Arlois Oliver and Annie Sue Russell, and brother Wardell Hobson. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Galloway Hines, daughters Dorlisa Love and Dorothea Cook, grandchildren Robert Love and Kiara Love, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
