A memory I have of Aunt Dorothy from when I was a small child was a picture of her that was so beautiful. She stayed with Uncle Odie in our attic for a while.
My sister, Sheryl, and I visited her some times in Bensenville and always had a good time. I have always remembered that she had a picture of Jesus hanging on her wall. Since I moved to Las Vegas, I was able to visit a few times, most recently almost 3 years ago at Rick and Donna's. That visit was tops on my list of things to do. On a previous visit, when I said she was 75, she kindly corrected me, saying that she was 74-1/2. I will always remember her kindness, but her gentle firmness when she had a point to make. I am with you as you say your final goodbyes to her today. Much love.
