Just learned of Carol's victorious entry into Heaven. My husband Dean followed on February 4. Sincere condolences to Dave and the children. I've known Carol since she was in elementary school and our friendship continued over the years through visits, phone calls, and letters prior to her final illness. I think of her often. She made it through some rough days when the children were small but she was a survivor. Dave Erickson was her true sweetheart and with him she built a beautiful marriage and ministry. Dave was a loving and patient caregiver for these last few years and she was blessed with wonderful children who adored her.  How wonderful that she walked with Jesus, and we who know Him will spend eternity with Carol, Dean, and all those who have gone before.
