How you can help
Dorothy “Dottie” Ann Thomas was born on March 20, 1941 in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was welcomed with open arms by her parents, Al and Libby Krekeler, and was the middle child of two brothers that she adored — Jack and Bill. Dottie graduated from Normandy high school and loved to play sports. Soon after graduating, she met her husband of 57 years, Wayne Thomas. They had the most active, beautiful life together and were the proud parents of two children, Jerry Thomas and Deb Niewoehner. Dottie was a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren, who all called her “GaGa” — Maureen, Madeline, Allie, Lily, Parker, McKenna, and Thomas. She will be dearly missed, but know she will always be remembered as the most vibrant, loving, fun, kind soul.
