Doris Turner went to be with the Lord on July 31st , 2020. She was 91 years old, originally from New Castle , PA, but lived in Seminole, FL, for over 55 years with her beloved husband Donald Turner. She raised two children Mark and Lynn.

Dominoes, crosswords, and puzzles were her favorite past time activities. Every Wednesday she enjoyed playing dominoes with her lovely friends. She kept her mind sharp my doing sudoku. Her favorite part of the day was eating dessert with her family while playing games. It was know to all that she had a sweet tooth. She was very active with her craft group in Seminole until moving up to Pace to be with her family Lynn, George and Shelby. She enjoyed giving Shelby's horse, Chance, peppermints everyday and worried about him when it was raining. Spring was her favorite time of the year, watching the crepe myrtle trees blooming.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Turner and Son, Mark Turner. Sisters, Helen Ayers, Edna Biddle, Jean Day , Edith Fanning, Lois Mershimer, and bother, Joe Mershimer.

Survived by her devoted daughter, Lynn Bruno, son-in-law, George Bruno; grandchild Shelby Bruno , Robert Turner and wife, Jamie ; Great grandchild, Connor Gissinger and Carolyn Turner. Sister, Eleanor Mershimer and brothers, Dick and John Mershimer.

She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed.

Services will be at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Clear water, Florida on August 9th. Viewing from 12-1 pm with grave site service to follow.
