Doris's obituary
Doris Ann Reprogel (née Horn) passed away peacefully at home, with her son, Tim, and granddaughter, Melissa, by her side, on July 13, 2022. She was born to Magdalena and Walter Horn on June 6, 1935 in Baltimore, Maryland. Doris married Clarence Reprogel March 17, 1956 and together they raised 6 children: Deborah, Samuel, Madalyn, William, Michael, and Timothy. Doris was an avid reader, loved music and animals, enjoyed criminal mystery novels and TV shows. She also had quite the sweet tooth. She was a pioneer techie starting out with her first Texas Instrument computer. She loved spending time on her computer playing games and chatting with family and friends around the world. Doris retired as a Rite Aid Employment Supervisor in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. After her retirement from Rite Aid she worked with Dr. Elaine L. Alexander and took much pride in assisting with the early research of Sjögren's Syndrome at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She was predeceased by her mother, father, brother Mickey Horn, son William Reprogel, daughter Madalyn Brown, daughter-in-law Connie Sue Reprogel, grandson Michael Reprogel, Jr., and loving husband Clarence Reprogel. She was survived by her brother, Eugene Horn of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, her children - Deborah, Samuel, Michael and Timothy, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
