With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Doris Peiffer, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to all whose lives she touched. Doris departed this world on September 9, 2023, just shy of her 93rd birthday. Born on September 20, 1930, Doris lived a life filled with love, warmth, and kindness.

Doris was predeceased by her husband, Elmer Peiffer, with whom she shared many joyful years, and her sons, Rodney, Steven, and Jeffrey Peiffer, whose memories she cherished until her last breath.

She is survived by her daughter, Gale Rahn, and her son, Brian Peiffer, who were a great source of pride and joy. The light of her life was her grandchildren, Laura Zombro, Rebecca Peiffer, William Rahn, Dustin Rahn, Melinda Kling, Joshua Boyer and Danielle Peiffer, also survived by her many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren who provided her with endless joy and happiness.

Doris was a woman of taste, who loved the simple pleasures of life. A lover of the television show Young and the Restless, she enjoyed sipping coffee while solving crossword puzzles. Wearing red, her favorite color, she was easily recognized as the caring, loving, and worry wart she was. The lessons she instilled in all of us were of kindness and love for others.

Her causes were simple yet profound - family above all. Her legacy extends beyond her immediate kin. Doris leaves behind a legacy of compassion and love for others, a testament to her caring nature. She lived her life by her favorite quote, 'Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.'

Though Doris's physical presence has left us, her spirit lives on through the values she instilled in her family and friends. Her wisdom, strength, and unconditional love will continue to guide us as we remember her unwavering kindness. Doris will forever be missed but never forgotten. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
