Background
Doris was passionate about advocating for the vulnerable and ensuring equality. She dedicated her career to advancing childhood literacy and including exempt students. The Lucy Project shares Doris's endeavor to better the lives of children through literacy education.
Ralph and Doris rescued their pets whom in return gave them love, joy, and entertainment. They were dedicated patrons of AnimaLuv, who aided Scooter after being hit by their car before joining their family. Tommy Cat hid in their house 3 days after escaping surrender to Richardson Humane Society selected due to their a no kill policy. It was then Ralph and Doris discovered they had a new member of the family.
Doris and Ralph also volunteered on multiple occasions with Austin Street Center, which helps attain permanent housing and job assistance for those down on their luck.
Although Ralph was dedicated to providing all care for Doris, he accepted guidance from the Alzheimer's Association which helps families navigate this heartbreaking disease. Contribute
