Doreen's obituary
Doreen Ruth Robinson, 62, of Springfield, Vermont, entered into eternal rest on January 2, 2025, in Lebanon, New Hampshire. She was born on May 14, 1963, to the late Ruth and Edward Robinson. Doreen grew up in the town of her birth and carried the light of her community with her throughout her life.
An alumna of Springfield High School, Doreen furthered her education with a bachelor's degree from the University of Maine and a master's degree from the University of Vermont. She then committed herself to a career in special education, a testament to her unwavering dedication to serving others, particularly those with special needs.
Doreen was a woman of remarkable character, known for her selflessness and generosity. Her quick wit and infectious smile were hallmarks of her warm and engaging personality. Outside of her vocational commitments, Doreen's hobbies included fishing, painting, and engaging with her favorite television series, "Doctor Who." She was an enthusiastic follower of NASCAR and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.
Left to honor Doreen's memory are her fiancé, Leslie Davio; her son, Lander Smith-Robinson; her sister, Darlene (Robinson) Pawulak; and her brothers, Patrick and Kevin Robinson. She is also survived by her daughter by-choice, Barbara Krawczyk and her spouse Justin, and son by-choice, Jeffery Barcome and his wife, Maryjane, as well as her six cherished grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Doreen was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Michael Edward and Kelley Albert Robinson.
Doreen's loving spirit and the lessons she imparted will live on through the countless lives she touched. Her family and friends are comforted by the memories of her benevolence and the legacy of kindness she has left behind.
