Dear Duane,

I am so sorry for your loss. I knew your mother back in 2007 when I was attending Bethlehem Lutheran Church. I was a divorced single mom and she and her circle of friends at church supported me and comforted me and prayed for my family. I was encouraged by her stories of how you had turned your life around when my son faced challenges. She was a wonderful lady and when I eventually went back to teaching she cheered me on. Her support and the support of others at the church meant the world to me. An obvious example of showing Christ's love to someone in need. I look forward to seeing her in heaven.

I expect you have many wonderful memories and I hope they are a comfort to you and your family at this time.
