Background

I am writing today to let you know about the loss of Dora Alicia Garcia, she was beloved by everyone who who knew her, family and friends. Dora has had a stream of health issues in the past few years, she was definitely a fighter and overcame all of them or had them under control.
Unfortunately she contracted COVID 19 around Christmas time and was admitted to the hospital. Dora was doing better and was scheduled to be released from the hospital to go home. Unexpectedly, Dora took a turn for the worst and went into a comma. At this point we all thought she would be fine because she was a fighter. Sadly, it did not turn out the way we all hoped and prayed for. Now Dora's family was left with the hardest decision, what to do after she had been incubated and no signs of improvement or recovery. The family reached a decision together, something they could never imagine going through.
Dora, not able to breath on her own, passed away at 3:20pm peacefully. Surrounded by her family for their final goodbyes.
All of Dora's family and friends thought she could beat the odds because she had already overcome so much.
She is in a heavenly place, free of pain and watching over her family. Now the hardest part, her husband Luis and three children Luis, Javier and Alicia have to plan a funeral for the only mother and wife they will ever have. Devastated over this sudden turn of faith, losing their mother and wife they loved so much and wishing they had more time with her.
