Big Owel
2010, Moore, Oklahoma, USA

Man, it's been a while and hard to remember all the details those that went to school with donovan will remember this story.

Kids at this time (2010) that went to moore schools (private school) that was in 7th,8th and 9th grade will remember this we all used to play a game called "man hunt" object of the game was to elude the "hunters" as long as possible this game would usually start around 7:30am and not end until school was out. This included times in between class.

Donovan could almost outrun 80% of the people that would play man hunt.

jokes were always made that he was the mail man's kid due to his athletic abilities. Donovan used to always think outside the box on his ideas of how to elude people. If it wasn't from. Walking in the attic of the school to climbing a steel beam 30 ish feet in the air to purch like a bird in the ceiling of the gym  he would come up with the craziest ideas which would often work. Due to no one knowing how he did it.

One Friday myself, triston, ethan, donovan,Kaylee,Brittany, alex and a few others were playing man hunt. it lasted from lunch time till 4 o clock (after we all begged our parents to pick us up late so we could play as long as possible.)everyone was found at this point (8people) except donovan. We all looked for him for what seemed to be hours we knew he had won but still wondered where he was, we looked inside the school, playground, gym and for those that went to this school that will only know we're this spot was the "spooky side" he was no where. we all sat in the parking lot given up and waiting to be picked up. At this moment we had look at the end of the parking lot. a box (formally a box for cups for the shaved ice stand) box stood about 5,8 and about a foot and a half  in diameter. It started to run and so the chase began. Donovan was running in that box every bit of 12-17 mph not a hole in that box to know where he was going and he tripped 60 foot from where he started on a parking curb. We all stopped and heard him yelling that he was hurt we pulled him out of the box trying to figure out what happen as he was pulled out there. It happened there layed his nipple in his hand he had fell and the parking stop had a piece of rebar sticking out which cut his left nipple off. Panicking we all did not know what to do, finally his mom showed up and rushed him to the er and they patched him up. Later on we all had a laugh he would always make jokes from that point foward. If your gonna think inside the box at least put eye holes in it so you can see where your going "batman".

To one of my good friends. It's been many years. Almost five at this point. Just know many people still think about ya. I cherish the many memories I have had with ya. I hope other people chime in i know there were many stores out there about ya.

I remember when Darian, Hunter, you and I used to hang out a lot at church. I remember falls Creek and how you always ran around telling that you were Batman. I remember how passionate you were about the people you loved. We hadn't talked in quite some time but It still hurt so much when I saw that you had passed away. RIP Donovan, I hope you are at rest now.

He was a great guy and friend! my heart breaks for his family. Praying for everyone during this hard time
One of my favorite memories was when we went to pull a part a few times in one day for a starter for his truck. Only problem was his truck was in drive and wouldn't start. We learned to always check what gear your car is in. I love you brother. I'll see you again some day.
