Donny Carrington, beloved son and brother, unexpectedly passed away at the age of 44 on Christmas Eve, December 24th, 2023 in Martinsburg, W. Va.

Donny was born in Fort Ord, Ca. on March 28, 1979 to In Ok Hwang and Zachary Glenn Carrington,  who preceded him in death. He was raised in Front Royal, Va. until the age of 15 and graduated from Sherando High School in Stephens City, Va. in 1997.

Donny has lived in California, South Korea, Georgia and Virginia. He lived the last years of his life with his sister, Lona, in Martinsburg, W. Va.  Patrons of ROCS Convenience Store on Shepherdstown Road will remember Donny as the smiling face behind the counter. Friends and family will remember him as a fan of comic books, Marlboro Reds and his old VW. Donny believed in the strength of family and always lived his life with an open heart. 

Donny is survived by his sisters, Lona Lozinski and Georgia, Sabrina and Marylyn Carrington. He is also survived by his grandparents, Lynn and Mary Cameron of Front Royal, Va. He is additionally survived by his uncles, David and Jerry Carrington, a paternal grandmother, Beth Carrington, as well as a brother-in-law, nieces, cousins and a large extended family.
