Donnie Ray Hopper, was born May 10th 1967.  This was a great surprise for us girls to get a little brother.  I told all my friends.  When Donnie arrived at the house, our parents set him in the middle of the dining room table.  I then had kids lining up to come and see the new brother at a dime each. They marched in the living room and out the garage door. Our mother caught on quickly that I was making a little money.  She quickly put a stop to my new enterprise.  Donnie was a the best looking baby above all others.

I have been friends with Donnie (hoppie) 40years ! I am so very sad! So quick! 

I will miss this beautiful Soul for the rest of my life ! He was always so funny and kind   

His memory will brightly in my heart! 

Until I see you again! Say hi to Momma up there ! Lol

My heart and prayers to sll his beautiful family!

I was so sorry to hear about Hop A Long's passing. He was such a compassionate and funny person. He had wonderful humor and lots of stories . We have many great memories of him and will remain.He will remain in our hearts he will not be forgotten. He sure will be missed by us our love goes out to all his family as well.

My Condolences to all the family and friends of Donnie Hopper! Prayers of strength and grace as you navigate through this emotional time.

Donnie had a love for music that cannot be duplicated. A lot of shared respect for Stevie Ray Vaughn we had. 

I have a great memory of showing Donnie how to play a song by rock group Kansas. 

He lit up like a Christmas tree playing it and I saw a smile I will never forget. Jam on, Donnie!

Although we were brother in laws in the past, I will always remember you Donnie!

Grace and Peace through Jesus Christ our Lord!

Never without a smile!!always full of joy!!advice you give and gave was heard and listened to by many!!no more pain no more hospitalization your free!!!so many sad hearts,with so many emotions releasing into the air today.your love and admiration was felt by many I don’t know that I’ve ever seen you shake anybody’s hand!!you embraced each person you knew with a hug,with love,with laughter,you changed so many lives without hesitation!!you lit the darkest rooms and the darkest souls of anywhere or anyone you met!!some called you an inspiration some may even have called you an asshole!!guess we know where I got that from haha!!!a lot called you by your name!!few of us was lucky enough in life to call you dad,father,best friend!!you were so much more!!we are so sad of your exit because most if not all of us was loving and enjoying your entrance in our lives!!so many days are about to go by and none of them days will be right but your goal in life was to spread love!!your legacy will always be because of the love you spread!!!YOU ARE AND WILL ALWAYS BE MY HERO MY BEST FRIEND MY BROTHER MY STRANGER BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY MY FATHER!!!! My heart breaks for the loss of my baby brother. I have loved him from the very moment our mother brought him home from the hospital. Although we will have a hole in our hearts from missing him, let us fill it with love and good memories. Donnie is not in pain but in Heaven walking streets of gold with our Lord and Mother & Father . We will see him again🕊
